This absolute stunner is approx 8 inches end to end. It consists of 925 sterling silver and vermeil and lab created rubies. Lab created rubies are not synthetic, simulated or fake or glass. They are genuine rubies the difference being the pressure was applied outside of a mine as in mined rubies. Mined rubies are extremely expensive when you talk about this many and this size. The US banned imports of mined rubies from areas of conflict. The ban was briefly lifted years ago but then reinstated. There are very few mined rubies in this country. Lab created rubies are offered at fine jewelry stores and are genuine rubies. This is a wonderful gift to yourself or someone else to treasure. If it fit my tiny wrist I would be keeping it.
