Suzanne Neville - Venus (new 2019 collection) Worn at wedding on September 14, 2019 Purchased January 31, 2019 for $3,704 at Zoya’s Atelier I got it hemmed and taken in on the sides. I weigh 115 lbs and am 5’7”, I wore 2” heels with dress. DD bra size, dress has lace up corset inside and real buttons on the back. Added ribbon on waist to cover weird seam. The bottom of the dress got wet and dirty at the reception but I paid $350 to have the dress cleaned and it looks great (see photos)!

amarck @awerner5 hi there, this is what my dress store just gave me. Dress size that was ordered: bridal 8, retail 4 but then it was altered. My body measurements were: bust 33.5, waist 25, hip 35.25

amarck @awerner5 the stains are on both outer and inner. I got it professionally cleaned so I’m not sure if they would come out any better. I’m 5’7” and wore a very small heel with the dress. If you’re shorter, and had to get it hemmed, you wouldn’t see it.

evaoreskovich @amarck I’m confused on your pricing. It’s a $3,000 dress - you got to wear it. That alone brings the pricing waaaay down. Lucky if you get half that. You tried to get it cleaned but it wasn’t totally successful - and you tailored it. I’m not trying to be mean but help a girl out! I’m not trying to be cheap either. I hope to pay for my wedding - I’m not quite 19 and this is my dream dress. Any wiggle room??

amarck @evaoreskovich the dress was $3,700, $500 on alterations to enhance it and another $350 to have it professionally cleaned. As you said yourself, the dress is very unique and hard to find. The price stays as is and honestly, $700 is an insult of a price because you can go to any store and find a cheap dress for that much. You’re better off buying something new if that’s your budget. I’ve had a lot of interest, just hasn’t fit any of those people when they’ve tried it.
