I’m so glad my son has this splendid hoodie. I had no idea it was Supreme or so expensive for so long until I saw DJKhaled selling his red and white one! My son is half Arabic like his father, so seeing him represent half of what he should is gratifying! So glad Supreme made this. Usually we say Subhan/Glory to God which it says in Arabic. They left it as Glory in Arabic on this hoodie. Sweet!

as a Muslim woman, this makes me sick. I've known so many women who have had to sacrifice their religious practices and principles because of the intolerance America has shown for Muslims in general. but Supreme shits out a hoodie featurng arabic writing and all of sudden everyone wants to pay out the wazoo for a hoodie. if I wore a hijab or even spoke in arabic in public (!!!), I'd get some nasty looks and maybe even some good ol' racial slurs.

they hate us, they make us look like monsters but they wanna rock "subhan" in arabic on they hoodie. smh. its disgusting. f ur white privilege. this is not directed towards everyone, if don't apply let it fly. if it does..you are woefully ignorant and obviously have no idea how messed up this whole thing is.

@janeannm actually...subhanallah means glory to God, not just subhan. Subhan, as written on the hoodie, means glory.

@all3yk4t That’s exactly what I have been saying all along in more than one place. People keep saying it says hallelujah or supreme. To my brain I see Subhan only because I can’t see the a sounding vowel in the Arabic at the end but I know it is Subhana or Glory.

@all3yk4t It is very sad, yes what you wrote but true. God help all who have suffered such evil.

@all3yk4t It’s not white privilege always but rich privilege. Despite all of this Muslims and Arabs still like wearing this hoodie with Arabic on it many times while others like you are angry and hurt by the hypocrisy shown. The price is way too much for this to me also. My son is Arabic and he wears this hoodie sometimes. His father, my ex however could care less about it.

@all3yk4t That is, my son is half Arabic like his father and half what I am.

@janeannm I think it's awesome ur son embraces his background. my father passed when I was young so i understand how it feels to want/need to know about ur background! it reminds us of who we are and who who are not. ty for understanding tho.. it really is frustrating to see people of the Muslim faith feel like they must hide who they are just to avoid harassment or judgment... and then I see these hoodies going for up to $800 & everyone trippin over their feet 2 get hands on.

@janeannm haha I know what u mean about the vowels, its super hard to read arabic without all the "punctuation" unless it's ur first language! I even have a hard time with it, I prefer reading with punctuation because ur right, one word can be pronounced several different ways..
