I added a picture of my son wearing it, he was 10 y.o. in this picture.
My other son is wearing the same sweater, also a medium, Batman version. He was 12 y/o.
Both are a medium and I would guess the numerical size as a 8-10
If I had to guess the sizes of this brand/sweater are
XS: 4-5
Small: 6-7
Med: 8-10
Large: 12-14
XL: 16
