@maddieelmore they're in great condition. The distressing on the shoe is intentional. This is how they looked when they were brand new. The soles as you can see show they have been worn. As a sales associate at Frye,I would recommend sizing down because leather stretches. Normally, I would wear an 8. Also the shoe is re-soleable so you could take it to a cobbler and get new soles
