Color: Amber Ha Ji Hoon is a multidisciplinary artist based out of South Korea focusing on representing traditional Korean style in contemporary ways. His reinterpretation of tradition is not simply combining the past and the present but instead showcasing traditional craftsmanship while maintaining modern day functionality and practicality. BAN CLEAR SERIES also introduces a TRAY taken from the top of a soban to enhance its usability. BAN CLEAR TRAY takes its shape from the top of Najuban, one of his signature sobans. Each soban has a distinctive feature depending on the region where it was produced and Najuban is named after the region, Naju in Jeollanam-do, Korea. Najuban is a simple, yet beautifully constructed rectangular tray. In particular, it features a thick edge called Byeonjuk, to prevent things from slipping off the tray.
