This magnificent museum-quality piece has 12 smaller squash with one huge squash center. About 26” long with 2.5” x 2.5” large squash. Others are 1.75” long. Stamped Sterling with IH or JH initials and EYN written in marker on main squash. Hook closure.I’m positive this is worth more than I’m asking. I just don’t wear it enough!

I REPEAT DO NOT SELL THIS AMAZING PIECE OF HISTORY/ARTISTRY/GIFT OF LOVE FROM THE ZUNI NATION. Here is why I am sticking my nose in your business about this. I was blessed to be raised in Arizona for the first part of my life. Many of my family member are still there. My family & I spent alot of time on different reservations. My mother was gifted 3 squash necklaces.

mtnmovr1 She was gifted 3 squash necklaces. 1 is in a museum and the other 2 were stolen by a caregiver at the time of her death. These were priceless. The one in the museum was the least of the 3 in age, size and value. It was estimated to have been made in 1880. It was made for the first wife's mother of a chef who was an tribal elder.
