Stunning signed Miriam Haskell Pearl and Rose Montee necklace

This is a beauty! Single strand of baroque pearls, highlighted by a pair of rose montee crystals between each pearl. This gives a sparkly accent to the classic and always wearable strand of pearls. The rose montee’s are connected back to back so as you move, they move and catch the light. The necklace is 17 1/2” long, including the 3” extension. It ends with a pearl and crystal flower hook, signed Miriam Haskell on the back. This type of hook was first used in the 1950’s. Based on the hook and style, this necklace dates from the 1950’s to early 1960’s. In excellent vintage condition. All rose montees are present. A few have darkened slightly with age. The pearls are in very good condition, a few minor surface losses at the top where the bead caps have rubbed over the last 70 years or so.
