Stunning Vintage 1960s Red And Yellow Print Quilted Car Coat Size S

This is a GORGEOUS lightweight quilted Union made car coat by Braetogs from the 60's. One of a kind statement piece for a true vintage lover! * Striking red and yellow print fabric * Red and white front buttons * Side pockets at hips * Fully lined in yellow satin like fabric * Outer layer feels like quilted cotton * 2 Sashes in back * Blue ILWGU label In excellent vintage condition with just a few splits in the lining that are an easy stitch up (one 1.5" under arm and one near bottom of lining shown in photos). A small section of hem could use a tack down as well. These are inside and do not show when worn. Appears that bottom button was reattached at some point as thread underneath is different color and button is slightly off center. Thread can't be seen, only noticed on thorough inspection. My thought is that someone intentionally moved the button to provide extra room in the hip/thigh area! Measurements laid flat: Pit to pit 18" Waist 18" Hip 19" Arm Length from shoulder approx 21" Total length from shoulder to hem 36" This would be best suited for a size XS to Small - I would recommend for 34" Bust and under with small frame so that you have enough room to comfortably wear over clothes.
