cmrhynes Lying flat the ankle measures 5", the calf measures 7" and the opening measures 9" but has a u shaped opening with the ties so can be customized... all of this being said; the boots are stretchy - I am very hard to fit boots because I have bigger calves - I also have a high arch and find it difficult to put on a pull-up boot but these were not difficult for me to get into - these fit beautifully - because of the stretch, these are made to fit on a variety of leg sizes.
