Striking Large Abalone Vintage Pendant Necklace

This unique and large abalone shell pendant cannot be missed. It is approximately 2 1/2 long and 1 1/2" wide. The shiny silver backing has some scuffs. See pictures. The silver portion on the pendant is not attracted by a magnet, but I am not sure of the material, except is it a non-ferrous material. The silver tone necklace is a continuous chain that measures approximately 13 1/2" long (doubled). From a smoke free home. Abalone Shell is said to enhance feelings of peace, compassion and love.
