The estate jeweler it was purchased from stated it was synthetic emerald but from research it may be something like spinel or another stone. The lighthouse lens cut is a proprietary cut developed by the jewelry company Strellman, known for using it in their rings and other pieces. Approximately size 5.25. Ring is vintage and shows marks, scratches, etc. Stamped STRELL 14K.
