This Strasburg Heirloom Dress is a Treasure! It is one of the "Strasburg Lace" original designs before the company changed names to "Strasburg". This dress was featured in Vogue Weddings. The heirloom dress is done in a white organza with an off-white satin trim (the tone on tone is gorgeous). The elbow length puff sleeves have an overlay of organza and gather with elastic, leaving a ruffled hem. Where the gathers sit, is an off-white satin ribbon trim that ties into a bow, leaving sort streamers of ribbon. The oversized collar is gorgeous and the focal point of this beauty. The point collar (also known as a pilgrim collar) has lovely hand embroidered floral vines done in white. It is made of a double layer of organza with a 1.5 inch off-white satin ribbon band hem. The entire dress is lined with a white liner. Upper button back closure and a matching white organza sash that ties in the back into a bow for the perfect fit.
