First, the upper bodice is done in an accordion style smock. Then just above the waist, joining the upper smocking is a petite lattice design that is bordered on top and bottom with accordion smocking and bordered in the shape of hearts- such a clever and unique design! Within the lattice work is hand-embroidered white flowers with triple seed pearl centers. Just Beautiful!! The neckline and arm openings are trimmed with white piping, giving a smooth finished edge.
