@tiggykimbabean7 I measured from the inside of the middle of the strap to where the zipper hits. It’s approximately 9”. I would say this is meant to be worn on your arm. I can fit it on my shoulder but it isn’t comfortable. Especially if you would have it full of stuff. I hope this helps. It’s a great purse and a nice neutral color. 👜
