Two questions: Are the shoes in the photo the actual shoes? (I'm interested in whether there is indeed stitching around the edge of the footbed as shown in this photo.) Secondly, does this upper hug your foot like a sock? I recently purchased a tan pair, and they did not hug, so they were too big. I have these in black, but got them at TJ Maxx, and so I'm wondering if mine are unusual in some way. Mine have stitching and hug my foot.

@drosborne they are pictures of the actual shoe, so yes, they have that stitching on the top. They stay on my feet pretty well. I think they “hug” the foot.
