Verre de Soie bowl by Steuben with a beautiful, iridescent coloration in the glass. It was created by Frederick Carder for Steuben Glass in Corning, N.Y. in the early 1930's and was among his favorite of all the great art glass he created. "Verre de Soie" translates to "glass of silk". The bowl measures 12" across and 4.5" high. It is very good condition.
