Sterling silver gemstone wire pierced vintage earrings jewelry

Earrings are in good condition and kept in a clean smoke free home. Brand unknown, tested as a gemstone with my presidium II - but it only tests several stones so it will land on closest composition which was tourmaline/garnet/iolite. My guess is onyx. I am not a gemologist. Earrings were cleaned and are marked on the back as sterling and on wires S925. Cute little design resembles a person.
