925 Sterling Silver Turquoise Earrings This is a pair of oval turquoise cabochon pierced earrings set in sterling. The only mark is 925 on each earnut. Much of the turquoise used in jewelry in the past 30 or 40 years is color treated. These earrings are believed to date to the 1980s. Note: Color variations are due to reflections. In person, the metal color is a beautiful, even silver. The turquoise is a strong medium blue with a little matrix.
