Sterling Silver Poison Box Ring Prayer Box Amethyst Sz. 5.5

As beautiful as it is unique! This vintage ring, known historically as a poison box ring, but now often referred to as a prayer box ring, is a very well made reproduction in solid .925 sterling silver and a single, genuine amethyst stone in the top center. The sterling indicator stamp is located inside the band and shown in one of the pictures. It is approximately a size 5.5 and in excellent condition. The hinge and clasp work and there is just the right amount of tarnishing to give it the vintage appeal. This particular ring has lovely filigree detailing that adds even more interest to this already unique and historical piece. I used to collect these rings in my youth. I am finally selling my last few- the ones I held onto for one reason or another. This is a wonderful opportunity for anyone interested in these rings.
