Sterling Silver Necklace with Stone

In great condition. Beautiful piece. Not sure what stone is in the center. It is a brownish purple color. The chain does not have a stamp. Therefore, I do not think it is sterling silver however, you can see that the pendant is stamped Sterling. The little clasp has a stamp but I cannot see what it says.
