Sterling Silver Marcasite Onyx Seahorse Necklace Never Worn

Hello. This is a fabulous necklace that I bought from JTV many years ago and never wore. It is a sterling silver seahorse pendant mounted on a nice sized teardrop of black onyx. The seahorse's body is marcasite, and it catches the light and sparkles. The eye of the seahorse is a small ruby. Below the seahorse are sterling silver circles that appear to be bubbles in the water he swims in. The back is open. The bail is large enough to fit most chains and cords although the 18" box chain comes with it. The chain has a spring ring clasp. The pendant is a good size measuring about 1" not including the bail which measures about 1/4". The pendant is just about 3/4" at its widest point. Great necklace. Seahorses are fascinating creatures. I apologize for the pictures, but I had to turn off the flash because the marcasite glare actually whited out the pictures. It is a wonderful piece. Comes in its original gift box with a jeweler's pouch. You will not be disappointed. Smoke free home.
