Sterling Frank M. Whiting Triple Candelabra With Glass Dish

This is a vintage candelabra, made by Frank M. Whiting & Co, featuring three candle holders and a glass compote accessory. The candelabra can be used with or without the bowl. The main base can also be unscrewed to be used as a single candle holder or as a candy or compote dish. See pictures for various ways.The base is weighted for stability and it is all sterling silver, not silver plated. Frank M. Whiting started in 1895 and was in business until the 1940's when they were purchase by Ellmore Silver Company. Piece is stamped with Frank M/ Whiting and Sterling on bottom of base. There is a dent in the side of the base and a smaller dent in the middle candle holder. Dimensions are 9 3/4" L x 7 1/2" H (with dish), 5 1/4"H (w/o dish). Base is 3 1/4" in diameter.
