She stole my heart. Just a pic to show off the best thing that has happened to me in a long time. She isn’t even a year yet. She cuddle snuggles and bites Hubby 🙀lol I truly wish she didn’t. Seems they are one person it’s and she picked me. We got her when she was five months old. She won’t let me take pics for Posh. So I have to put her in her cage. She is with me all the time. Even sleeps in the bed sometimes. And no she doesn’t 💩 poop in the bed. Awesome bird.

extraprettylady Awwww! Yes I had a male cockatiel who I hand raised that was a complete love --- so much so that I paid no attention to him on my long hair on my shoulders when I opened the front door , stepped out on the icy snowy deck but didn't know he was on me-- and he moved position -- heart sank - all was good til i reached/opened the door to go back in and he flew up into the trees - I couldn't get him back and he perished in the snow 😫😩😳😱

stellablue59 @extraprettylady omg. Omg. I lost one he flew away when a kid slammed the door. Omg. I cried for years. The first one I had was dJ afyer my Daugher who passed away. dJ helped me heal. 3 years later god called by bird home. 9 birds later I finally found another DJ so to sisal. I miss DJ and Oz(the one that flew away). That is so sad. 😢

extraprettylady @stellablue59 yes it was absolutely horrific - no words will ever express the depth of that loss - everyone who ever met "featherhead"(named by my daughter about 8 at the time ) was able to play with him & he spoke a Few words too. will never have another like him - in certain - I blew it so big time -- my hair is down passed my butt - always was. I didn't feel him so no idea he was on me -- I'm so so sorry to hear of DJ -- I'm so glad birds helped bring some peace +delight to your world -- wow

Because there are many left alone after their loved one died. Like I prob will to Stella she will out live me. I love her so much it hurts. When u get a rescue /someone else Pet continue..

stellablue59 @redtudorrose2 remember that you will need to be patient. Kind quiet and consistent. Give new baby time to trust you. Never yell always speak softly remember they yell cockatoo are LOUD. there is a parrots pray if you can’t stand my yelling don’t invite me in your home because I’m a parrot I yell. Parrots are cool and they talk! How old? Cockatoos mininck. But I swear mines knows what she’s saying
