Starbucks Insulated Coffee Carafe

I have red accents throughout my kitchen, and thought I might use this a lot. Unfortunately, I use the silver carafe that came with my coffee maker, so this has been in storage for awhile. My husband took it to special events a couple of times at work, so there are a few minor cosmetic scratches on it. Works like a champ though, especially if you take the extra step of preheating it with hot water before putting hot coffee in. My coffee maker told me that secret! Keep boiling hot water in the carafe for a minute to preheat the intertior, then discard water before adding the coffee. It really keeps coffee hotter longer! (I pour the preheating water into a watering can and use it to water plants once it has cooled. Waste not, want not!) 50 oz capacity.
