Manual Extension/Retraction, sort of stiff both ways Sounds make the lightsaber on/off noise, and a 2nd Saber on noise. Has two blue buttons on the handle, not sure what they are for. Does have some dents and signs of use & play retracts to 21" - Fully extended = 34"- Push button on/off. Will shut off on it's own after a couple minutes Mails in bubble envelope - takes 3 AAA batteries, not included gd24
