Star Wars Chewbacca Slippers

Star Wars Chewbacca Slippers, size L2_3. I have no idea what that size means as I'm from the UK. If anyone could please tell me what L2-3 is, I would be very grateful. I think their men's slippers. They are in good condition, I've only worn them the once. They have a cute Chewbacca face. The print on the soles has faded a little, please see photos.
