Staffordshire Old Granite Made in England by Johnson Bros Vegetable Serving Bowl This pattern “Gretchen” was only in production from 1974 to 1978. It features a light tan granitized background with a edge band of red and yellow flowers with green leaves. It reminds me of a Dutch stencil or Early American pattern. It is genuine hand engraved. Condition is lightly used with no chips, cracks or crazing. The bowl measures about 8 1/2 inches across. It is about 3 inches deep. It has a heavy feel but is not super thick.
