St. Louis Saint Louis Crystal France Wine Spirits Decanter

This is a gorgeous, heavy cut crystal decanter from Saint-Louis Crystal France. Classic ship’s whiskey decanter style with wide-bottomed shape and vertical cuts. Acid etched St. Louis France mark on the base. The vintage decanter is in very good preowned condition, with just one tiny fleabite in the lip as shown in the last photo and a bit of water clouding seen only from the bottom. I cannot confirm whether the stopper is original to the piece or is a replacement, but it sits high in the neck making me suspect it has been replaced. In continuous production since 1586, Saint-Louis crystal is mouth blown and handcut in France, and since 1995 has been part of the Hermes group.
