liz399 @tayvictoria9 yes, there is room! I usually wear two layers - a thin one (base layer) and then one that is a little bit thicker (e.g Patagonia better sweater). If I’m skiing in warmer weather, then I only wear one layer because the jacket is truly warm and has really good protection in the wind.

kmalavenda1 Hi- I can’t tell if it’s just an outer layer type jacket or the full ski jacket that will keep me warm in the Alps? Is there a degree rating?

liz399 @kmalavenda1 hi! It’s a full insulated ski jacket. Depending on condition, you can wear with only a light base layer underneath and it will keep you warm. At the time of purchase, it was spyder’s warmest jacket line! Should be good to go for the Alps!
