You can control with your voice so it’s hands-free (my fav), with the dial, button, or touchscreen. You can listen offline, as it uses the cellular connection on your phone to automatically download the next few songs, so you can continue listening during short patches of poor connection. You can still get calls & notifications while your phone is connected to Car Thing. It pauses the audio when you get a call, & resumes when the call ends. You can use any GPS system in your car or on your phone with Car Thing. Big bonus that you don’t have to leave your navigation screen on your phone to adjust Spotify - now you can have both playing simultaneously! I also love that it auto connects to your phone when you get in the car, & has the original album art showing (that you would see on Spotify). It’s so nice for road trips when you want to listen to music/podcasts, & can use the Spotify suggestions so you’re not distracted while driving. I had it in my previous car & LOVED it, even though that car had a built-in screen. I still preferred the look of the Car Thing visual over the display in the car, & loved the ease of being able to have other apps open while still being able to see Spotify. Sadly, I no longer have that car. This product is discontinued.
