These are the real deal made in England before the SPODE factory shut down for good in 2008 where everything was then shipped to the far east (China) This set was once part of a service of 12 +, but some of the boxes weren't saved. Though I cannot verify 100%, from what I knew about the owner, these were not used as we found several sets that you could tell had been used. These have no utensil scratches or signs of use.
