The Spode China Summer Harvest Design was created in 1978 for the celebration of Queen Elizabeth II's Silver Jubilee. The design consists of wild flowers, bindweed, blue periwinkle, Jacobs ladder and wild chamomile. These cups and saucers were given to me as a gift by my mother in 1980, never been used and have remained in their original packaging all these years. Consequently, they are in brand-new condition. It seems a pity to have these lovely pieces packed away and not enjoyed especially given the wonderful history of Spode.
