gilmansgoodies @4pudgygirl Hi! You can if you use another strap which might look odd though. The laces are coiled so can’t be removed or extended. The style of this shoe is to wear as a slide in and you need that first hole loose to get in the shoe. Warning it’s very tight so must have a low arch slender foot. Once on there’s no slippage. Hope this helps
