Sperry 8 top side woman's light brown height slide on loafer shoes

Sperry size 8 light brown loafers. one lace is broken on the right shoe (right lace). I can't get it to pull through to even them out so I've had to tie them in an alternative way with the barrel knots. Shoe bodies are in excellent condition
