Vintage Blue Ridge Hand Painted Cake Service by Southern Potteries of Erwin Tennessee, produced from 1930s to 1957. Beautiful and collectible, individually hand painted, under-glazed and light weight. This collection includes a 10” serving plate, 6 six inch plates, a 9” cake server and a 9” serving spoon. The floral pattern is vibrantly colored and the plate edges are scalloped. It is-rare to find the same pattern to create such a set. Note the 10” dish has some brown stains and the serving spoon has some crazing. Im not sure if this is technically a cake plate but it works great as one.
