treannesfrocks @nlan123 Oh please tell me what it is. A girl can dream, right? I've been okay. Crazy, crazy busier than busy. My dissertation proposal defense is scheduled for the last week of May and it's gonna take me every bit of that much time to get it ready. Scary!

treannesfrocks @ecugal01 Yeah, definitely take a break. I took five years between MEd and EdD. Non thesis is nice. I did one but it honestly didn't prepare me for a dissertation like they said it would!

treannesfrocks @ecugal01 I think career development would be fun but tough! I direct the Learning Commons. We do tutoring and SI, peer coaching, workshops. Student support stuff. It's interesting ;)

treannesfrocks @ecugal01 And we work closely with career services at our campus. I guess it's the new thing, right? Wraparound services? I hate buzz words but I do see this one actually happening on most campuses

treannesfrocks @ecugal01 Interesting set up! I report to the senior VP of academic affairs but I attend all student affairs division meetings too. Yes, wraparound services... Makes me shake my head. Our 10 year on site visit is this monday (arghhhh!) and the term wraparound is all through our self study. (Accreditation study). Yet I literally returned from a conference yesterday where they told us DO NOT SAY THAT WORD! So... It's fun to see the words come and go. I've been at this game for 15 years so I have heard quite a few buzz words that just confuse the kids ;)
