I ordered these “Sorels” knowing at the price I paid they would not be in great condition. I wanted something to clean the chicken coop in and other yard jobs in the winter!! These were first folded in the box when they arrived! Then I put them on one is bigger than the other. Higher heel longer and taller then I take the insoles out one is Sorel one isn’t! The stitching is different on the boots and omg I’m just shocked by people ok this site!! I’ve never sold or tried to sell anything fake WHY

heatherggjfg @littlemissmegn and I’ve had two people try and report expensive shoes they’ve bought from me as listed with the wrong size or color so they could get their money back they were probably expecting fakes!

heatherggjfg @littlemissmegn I have seen a few on here and I always flag them I think it’s more that other companies make knockoffs and people switch the tags. Honestly these could just be a different year or something and the differences are hard to spot but she sent me two different shoes and side by side it’s easier to see different stitching and little things like that.

loni666 I've purchased 3 pairs of Sorels from Poshmark...they all were legit and in stated condition.. I only purchase from sellers selling single pairs (not the boutique or sellers that list several pairs in different sizes) and sellers that post actual pictures of the boots. The internet runs on scams- buyer beware!!

heatherggjfg @loni666 I have purchased sorels that were also as stated and I also do not purchase from people that have a lot of listings this person only had one pair and I will admit the pictures were bad but I assumed the condition was bad and they were priced accordingly. I posted this because it is so ridiculous the person sent me two different shoes!!!!

lavenderblues I don’t know that they are “fake” as much as maybe someone took them in to a shop to fix them and they did a terrible job. I’m not saying they aren’t fake. I’ve never seen fake sorel myself. But it looks to me like they tried to replace and fix them bc they were in bad shape. Idk they look awful tho. You should request your money back. I had to on something and I got my money back. It took a couple of weeks but I got it back

heatherggjfg @lavenderblues well the reason I said fake is because they are two totally different boots! I put them on and that’s when I noticed one is different it’s a little taller and the heel is a little lower. So I think one is real and one is a knockoff or older or something. It’s so strange that the person tried to get away with that like someone won’t notice when they put the shoe on how different they feel

heatherggjfg @lavenderblues oh and I’ve seen quite a few fake Sorels and I think they are just knockoffs and someone puts the tag and label on them somehow I’ve also run into quite a few fake danskos over the past few years both shocked me at first because I thought only super expensive things were counterfeited but I think almost everything is I read an article about the factories that do it and it seems like almost anything can be counterfeit

kkstasica @czy37 I've been trying to look up the difference between fake and real. does anyone know? the pair i made an offer on is different from the ones I've seen online...or is it cause it's an older design?
