Just like many other brands like Samsung, LG, etc, this 4K Blu-Ray disc player cannot play 4K discs without skipping or freezing. This unit perfectly plays regular Blu-Ray discs and DVDs. This is NOT a broken unit. Almost every 4K Blu-Ray disc player has this issue right now.
