lmpasternack @fredshoney if u paid 4000 for this and r asking 2500, would u go down to 1000? Same principle on my sister's ring. Her value is 5,500. It was over 6,000 dollars.

jimsbabe11 @lmpasternack I know what you mean unfortunately I sold this on eBay for 900 because my jewerler told me it's gold they want not diamonds and if the diamond is under a carat it's not worth what we pay... That's how they make there money but when we go to resell we can't get near what we pay....

lmpasternack @fredshoney I do understand that completely. She said the lowest she would go is 2500 on it. It is almost 2 carats total and it is still less than half of the replacement value. So, she said before she sold it lower she would take the diamonds out and have a necklace and earring set made. Sorry. I did what I could. 😞

iheartvspink Hey i have a question if you don't mind. Been wanting to sell my white gold pear shaped diamond ring but didn't think anyone would buy on EBay due too it being too risky- how quickly did yours sell and how low below what you paid did you sell it for? You don't have to tell me exact number, just say percentage wise. I don't wear it anymore and I feel sooo guilty it's just sitting around and I've taken it to jewelers that buy/sell but they weren't offering even close to what I paid! A little insider knowledge would be helpful if you can! 😊

jimsbabe11 @iheartvspink I don't know anything about your ring, it depends on how big your diamond is and clear it is, if your diamonds are small u don't get anything u lose money, I lost money on this ring!

iheartvspink It's one big diamond (VS1 for very slight inclusions) that is pear shaped and the ring has some diamond set in it on the sides

iheartvspink Ok! So go to jewelry store first and get papers first then take pics of papers and ring together and post? My son is 13 and I was going to save it for when he gets married but how would I even know that his future fiancé would like it and then I saved it all this time for nothing. It literally makes me feel so incredibly guilty I don't wear it and it's just sitting there. And the reason I don't wear it anymore is because it's a big diamond and I'm into dainty now. My tastes have changed.
