Portable type writer by Smith Corona. I estimate this to be from mid 1950s. Comes with the hard shell carrying case. Zipper on case works just fine as does the handles, the case has a few scuffs but overall condition is good. Case is in a tan I think vinyl. The typewriter itself is is a taupe color with ivory cream keys. As far as I can tell it works although the ribbon has long dried out so I couldn't fully test it. It does type and all the arms do move with the keys. It's overall condition is good although it's obvious it was loved and used for years. The tape is caught inside somehow, I'm not sure how to get it out but I'm sure it's possible I just don't want to mess with it too much.

@sweetpearl1994 I couldn't find a model number, not sure where it'd be.

I’m a history teacher and would love to have this for my classroom. There’s also a Trend to “let” the kids who have been caught cheating on computers use the type writers. It’s a consequence that is actually positive because they tend to light them up because of what we all feel when we use antiques.
