Opened, have had it since it first came out, tried blending 3 of the lip glosses and never touched again. I love Smashbox but this one just wasn’t for me. I prefer using the smaller palettes 🎨

I’m 39 but I’m kinda a ‘newbie’ to makeup. Would you recommend this kit for someone like me who needs instructions & tips? Thanks!!

@amielarsen honestly, no. The colors are pretty dark, it’s more of a pro set. I’d start with the basics, black waterproof eyeliner (kohl eyeliner) Smashbox has one but they come in other brands) and black waterproof mascara (I like Clinique for a natural look but any cheap one is fine) and a trio of neutral eyeshadow and lip gloss. Definitely Laura Geller powder foundation. That’s what I’d start with as someone my age.
