Small Mother of Pearl Nacre Box I Diamond Pattern

Here's a really pretty nacre/mother of pearl box for jewelry, paper clips, decor, etc. It has a soft, gray, felt interior & bottom, and a pretty diamond pattern on the top. The hinged lid/top does not stay open on its own, FYI. It is in VGUC with just a small discoloration to the felt on interior box bottom, shown close-up in last photo. Box is shown from all angles in no particular order; top, bottom, sides, front & back. Really pretty sheen/iridescence. Photos 9-11 show approximate measurements: 3" length x 2" width x 1.75" height FYI, I cannot verify if the box is authentic mother of pearl/nacre or not. I read that if it's cold on your cheek and clicks on your tooth, those are good signs that it's authentic.The box did both those things. Weight is also an indicator, but as it's so small, there isn't much weight to it. That's all the info I know/can provide. I believe it's real, but I could be wrong and am not an expert.
