Small Handmade Red Daruma Doll from Japan

A small daruma doll in red that was handmade in Japan for good luck and fortune. The way it is suppose to work is the recipient paints in the left eye with Japanese ink and makes a wish. When it comes true, they paint in the right eye to thank the doll for granting the wish. Received this in Japan about 2006 and never used. Cute little doll to sit on a shelf and spread good luck. Measures about 1.5" tall.
