Antique PRIMITIVE 19th Century WOOD MORTAR and PESTLE. For sale is an Antique primitive maple smooth turned wooden mortar and pestle set. The mortar had beautiful striped wood grain. It measures approximately 3” tall and 3.5” wide at the widest point. The pestle is original and had some wear to the bottom end. Great old woodwork patina. It is in good overall condition. Has some moisture stains from improper storage. A small crack in the base. Some worn spots in the bowl of the mortar. Age appropriate wears and natural imperfections are to be expected.
