Slum Dr. Paper Red Bead Necklace

Beautiful paper bead necklaces are handmade by Ugandan women who live in the poverty-stricken slums. These women are primarily single mothers who widowed, abandoned by their husbands, or displaced by the war torn regions of Uganda. This necklace is artfully crafted out of recycled papers that are hand-rolled into beads, varnished, and strung.
