This specialty leash is called the Freedom Leash because I designed it to walk rescue dogs, giving them some freedom from their kennels. I needed the security of two leashes. Anyone who had double leashed dogs knows what a hassle this is. This design provides the security of two leashes, while only handling one. There's a lot going on with this incredibly unique design. It is a slip lead with a backup safety to attach to your dog's collar or harness. There is also a stay close, or traffic handle. There are two D-rings for the safety to accommodate different size dogs. This lead is 78" when completely laid out. The cord colors are burnt orange and licorice. All items are woven by hand with love from Commercial Type III 550 Paracord. These handmade leashes not only look cool but are designed to last for years. For those not familiar with 550 Paracord, it is very durable and strong. The 550 means it is tested to 550 lbs of pull strength. Leashes will hold up to very strong and feisty dogs - I've tested all my designs while walking dogs at a local German Shepherd and Belgian Malinois rescue, my last German Shepherd, and my pet sitting clients. Leashes are reinforced with King Cobra stitches by the handle and I'm careful about seam placement, so there aren't any weak spots. I use high quality, heavy duty hardware.
