How does the camera attach to the circle part?

@adultinginpink, so the top circle portion is screwed on to the screw to protect it. the attachments for cameras and such screw onto the tripod itself.. each camera is different..

So for a standard dslr camera, I would need to buy something else to be able to attach it to this tripod?
