We sell hats in a variety of conditions from restored vintage to brand new. If our hats require any restoration, we will go out of our way to put them in the best condition we can before putting them up for sale.  If a hat is not up to our standards as we receive it, we will clean and restore it to our standards. If a hat has multiple noticeable defects, we will make sure to note them in the listing either in the description or displaying them in photos.  All of the pre-owned hats we sell have been disinfected, washed, air-dried in the sun, and molded as much as the hat's structure allows.  We won't claim we are hat restorationists, but we do our best to make sure the hat is as clean and presentable as we could make it. We are a family business, and we do not sell any hats that we wouldn't put on our kids heads. When we spot stains, pulls, or other imperfections, we will note them in the description and do our best to note them in the description. We don't always catch everything, which is why we recommend you study the photos as closely as possible.  All of that said, many of the vintage and otherwise preowned hats we sell are OLD or otherwise worn. When we photograph the hats, we support them internally to fill them out so you can see the whole hat as it would look on your head.
