4 pairs? These are boys leggings? What is the difference, just extra room in the crotch?

There are four pairs, they all have a "codpiece" like front indicating that they are for boys.

However, I myself have purchased these and worn the codpiece area in the back and they looked like regular leggings with extra lining. (The codpiece area is not overly boyish like boys underwear) for under my clothes. They keep me warm =)
